Montpelier Qi Gong

About Edward

My love of Japanese and Chinese movement arts began in 1981 with training in Aikido.  I practiced Aikido for 15 years, including teaching for many of those years.  In the early 1980s I was introduced to Japanese 'Do-In' exercises that I still use and bring into the Qi Gong class.   During the 1990s I began learning Qi Gong as part of my training in Jin Shin Do BodyMind Acupressure, and I had many more opportunities to train in Qi Gong while living in Maryland attending acupuncture school.

I have been leading this Qi Gong class in Montpelier since 2003.  I am also a licensed acupuncturist, with practices in Montpelier and Hardwick.  (Acupuncture of course is another way of cultivating the Qi.)

Over the past thirty years it's been an honor and a pleasure to have learned about the movement of Qi from so many wonderful and remarkable instructors.  As I pass on what I have learned from them, I continue to learn.
